Knee osteoarthritis

Also called: Knee OA · Ghutne ka dard

Knee osteoarthritis is age-related change in the knee joint that causes pain and stiffness, and it is extremely common in India. Decades of research agree on the single best non-surgical treatment: guided strengthening exercise. Many people avoid or delay surgery with a good physiotherapy programme.

Typical course: 8–12 sessions, then a maintenance routine — your physio confirms your personal plan after the first assessment.
