Terms of Service

PhysioDekho (“PhysioDekho”, “we”, “us”, “the Platform”) operates a technology platform that allows patients (“Patients”) to search for, view information about, and request appointments with independent physiotherapy practitioners (“Practitioners”).

We are an “intermediary” within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We store and transmit information provided by Practitioners and Patients on their behalf. We do not initiate the transmission, select the receiver of the transmission, or select or modify the information contained in the transmission, except as permitted by law. Accordingly we claim the protections available to intermediaries under Section 79 of that Act and the rules made under it.

We do not practise medicine. We are not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre, pharmacy or healthcare provider. We do not employ Practitioners, supervise their clinical work, or take part in any consultation, examination or treatment.

Listings, search results, rankings, distances, ratings and any other information displayed on the Platform are provided for convenience and information only. They do not constitute a recommendation, referral, endorsement, or certification of the quality, suitability, competence or clinical outcomes of any Practitioner.

Search result order may be influenced by your filters, your location, availability, and paid placement. Practitioners who purchase Featured placement are shown higher in results and are clearly labelled “Featured”. Paid placement never affects our verification standards.

Choosing a Practitioner is entirely your decision. You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to a Practitioner’s qualifications, registration and suitability for your needs.

Before a Practitioner appears in search we carry out a basic verification of the credentials they submit (name, stated qualifications, registration number and practice address).

Verification means we have performed a reasonable documentary check. It is not a guarantee of clinical competence, a warranty of treatment outcome, an ongoing audit, or an assurance that a Practitioner’s registration remains valid at all times. Practitioners are contractually required to keep their information accurate and to inform us of any change in their registration status.

Any appointment, consultation, treatment, advice, fee, refund, cancellation or dispute is a matter solely between the Patient and the Practitioner. The Practitioner is an independent professional, solely responsible for the care they provide, for maintaining their own registration, insurance and clinical records, and for complying with all applicable professional and legal obligations.

PhysioDekho is not a party to that relationship and accepts no responsibility or liability for it.

Fees displayed on the Platform are set and published by Practitioners. Unless expressly stated otherwise on a payment page, payment for consultations and home visits is made directly to the Practitioner at the time of the visit. We do not collect consultation fees, and we do not hold funds on behalf of either party.

Where we charge Practitioners for optional services (such as Featured placement or platform fees), those charges are governed by a separate agreement with the Practitioner and do not affect the fee payable by the Patient.

A booking request is an invitation to treat, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists only when the Practitioner accepts it. Practitioners may decline or cancel requests at their discretion.

Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show policies are set by each Practitioner. We are not responsible for a Practitioner’s failure to attend, lateness, cancellation, or for any loss you suffer as a result.

You agree that you will not:

• provide false, misleading or impersonating information;
• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law, including medical, advertising and data protection laws;
• post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, or that constitutes medical advice you are not qualified to give;
• scrape, harvest, resell or misuse Practitioner or Patient data;
• attempt to circumvent security, access another user’s account, or interfere with the operation of the Platform.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, without notice where necessary to protect users.

Practitioners and our team may publish articles and other content. Articles are general information only and are not medical advice. Views expressed in an article are those of its author. By submitting content you confirm it is your original work (or you hold the rights to it) and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on the Platform. We may edit, decline or remove any submission.

The Platform is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Do not use booking requests or chat to seek urgent care.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including as to availability, accuracy of listings, fitness for a particular purpose, and the quality or outcome of any treatment obtained through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhysioDekho, its founders, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any injury, clinical outcome, loss or damage arising out of or connected with services provided by a Practitioner. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the total amount (if any) you paid to PhysioDekho in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhysioDekho against any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, your content, or — in the case of Practitioners — from the services you provide to Patients.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, complaints regarding content or platform conduct may be sent to our Grievance Officer on WhatsApp at +918796183402. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

Complaints about the clinical care you received should be raised directly with the Practitioner and, where appropriate, with the relevant professional council.

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
