How we verify physiotherapists
Anyone can claim to be a physiotherapist online. On PhysioDekho, nobody appears in your search results until their credentials have been checked by a human. This page explains exactly what that means — no marketing gloss.
1. Credentials submitted
Every physiotherapist provides their qualifications (BPT/MPT or equivalent), professional registration number, and practice details before they can appear anywhere on the platform.
2. Checked by our team
Our team reviews the registration number and qualifications. Profiles with incomplete, mismatched or unverifiable details are not approved — a physiotherapist cannot mark themselves verified, the system does not allow it.
3. Only then listed
A physio becomes visible in search only after passing verification. The ✓ Verified state isn't a badge we sell — unverified profiles simply do not appear.
4. Kept honest by patients
After a completed session, patients can leave a public star rating and review. Reviews come only from real, completed bookings — never from anonymous visitors.
5. Removed when standards slip
Verified status is not permanent. Profiles with repeated complaints, misleading information or lapsed credentials are deactivated and removed from search.
