Knee

Heel slide

Regains bending after injury or surgery

How to do it

  1. 1Lie on your back with legs straight.
  2. 2Slide the heel of the affected leg towards your buttock, bending the knee as far as comfortable.
  3. 3Hold 5 seconds at the end of the range.
  4. 4Slide back slowly. A towel under the heel makes it easier.

A stretching feeling is fine; sharp pain is not.
