Knee

Single-leg balance

Retrains the reflexes that steady the knee

How to do it

  1. 1Stand near a wall or counter. Lift one foot a few centimetres off the floor.
  2. 2Hold your balance for 20–30 seconds, keeping the standing knee soft.
  3. 3Make it harder by closing your eyes or standing on a folded towel.
  4. 4Swap legs.

Stay near support; a light touch is fine.
