Back

Pelvic tilt

Wakes up the deep abdominals and eases the lower back

How to do it

  1. 1Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat, arms by your sides.
  2. 2Breathe out and gently flatten your lower back into the floor by tightening your tummy.
  3. 3Hold for 5 seconds while breathing normally.
  4. 4Relax and let the small arch return.

Keep the movement small; no need to lift the hips.
